11:20 a.m. - Dec. 26, 2002 Oh yea, the castle. Yesterday I finished up Kissmiss with my family, around 5PM. Drove home half asleep. My bed was calling me. Curled up in my bed, amidst piles and piles of many many projects and goings-on. Phone rang around 9PM. Sasha. Come over. Yes. On my way... Ended up spending yet another night over here - this time on cozy couch. Blake crashed out relatively early. Sasha and I stayed up, smoking countless cigarettes and talking about everything in our lives that brought us to the present day. Wow, Sasha learned alot more about me. More than I have ever shared. Guess the time was just right. I was feeling warm & fuzzy, inside and out. Sometime close to 4am, walking became a challenge. I stumbled up the stairs and fell into a deep, cozy sleep. How wonderful... Until that knock on the door. Woke up and - for a few seconds - didn't know where I was. Ah, yes - at the castle, surrounded by many furry animals. Looked down the stairs and could see that it was Clint & Matt at the door, playing Kissmiss elves, dropping off gifts for everyone. They got me some beautiful Origami paper - even some that glows in the dark! How fun. A bit later, after they left, Blake stumbled down the stairs. He cooks for his doggies. Had to begin the process of thawing hamburger meat. I made espresso. Three cups. Thought that the house was beginning to wake up and that I would share. But when the coffe was made, no humans were stirring. So I made a fire in the fireplace and drank all three cups of espresso by myself, with Tashamie in my lap. Upstairs now, Sasha mumbled awake for a moment...said something about breakfast....rolled over and went back to sleep. How sweet. Blake's on his way to the park, for a run. Eeky. How can he roll out of bed, without caffeine, and go (willingly) out into the cold...to run!? Beyond me. I have been given the task of taking over the feeding of the loved doggies. Instructions: In about 30 minutes, take the cooked stuff (lean hamburger meat, carrots, rice) and add a few pieces of ice to it (to cool it off a bit). Then add a bit of Kibbles dog food to this mixture, along with cottage cheese. Give one cup to each dog. Shit, how much Kibbles? Too late to ask. The car just zoomed away, with Blake in it. Hope that Sasha will want to wake up soon and go with me to my favorite greasy spoon. I am in need of big fat bacon...and old country music, spewing forth from the old jukebox. Ah...there is nothing better than being served a big, fattening, greasy breakfast by blue-haired ladies while lstening to Johnny Cash sing "Burnin Ring 'o Fire." Need to motivate just a bit today. After food. Hopefully, today will be the day that I spend inside my own home, making it cozy again. My loft is becoming quite the little Turkish bath house. Now - where are my dancing girls? Gigi, Tatania, Isabella...dance for me...but bring me my hooka first and all those young men, to serve me. I don't need much. It is almost noon now. Almost 7PM, in Milan. Time to go feed doggies. Beginning to wake up now. Sasha is still out like a light, even when Tito licks his face...ha ha ha
