Bilbo
It�s mostly quiet now. Bilbo is beginning to relax; I think � at least, he�s stopped meowing like mad. Dave is napping. We just finished moving Philly�s things from the Cave to the Castle. It went down like clockwork, with so many of us helping (Abel, Brennan, Clint, Dave, Sasha, and I.) Dave and I picked up donuts and kolaches for everyone, on our way. We got to Philly�s just after 9am. Candace helped pack and then went to the hospital. The move went really quick. It only took us two loads (of course, we did have six cars!)
The Castle looks great. The upstairs (loft) area will become the lounge. With all of the Poof chairs and such, it looks like Romper Room � it�s great! It looks completely cozy � very PAD.
Last night I helped Sasha clean the Castle. His parents arrive tonight, around 7pm. We had a great time cleaning � while also drinking lots of beer, smoking a lot of pot, and listening to funky-ass Internet radio. Needless to say, we danced almost as much as we cleaned. We took our time and had loads of fun along the way. In the House Book, we wrote a list of all the things we needed to accomplish:
Clean bathrooms
Dust
Pofree house* / Smofree house**
*Porn-free the house
**Smoke-free the house
Philly�s room
Move furniture
Hide this book (lots of incriminating evidence!)
We finished around midnight. We were both very tired and very drunk. The original plan was for me to take Bilbo, but we decided to put it off until today. Sasha told me that he wanted to get rid of one cat - and maybe Allison as well. He did find a home for Allison, in a home that had another dog - but it didn�t work out � the dogs fought like crazy. So, Allison returned to the Castle. I think it actually worked out the way that it was supposed to work out. Sasha wavered about getting rid of her, all along.
Anyway, Sasha decided that Bilbo was the one that would go (strictly a seniority thing � Bilbo was the last cat in the home) and I offered to take him. Bilbo is now 5 years old and has two pins in his leg from a car accident that he survived. He used to be an outdoor cat, but tends to spend more time inside these days.
I hope that he & Sprocket get along. Guess we�re about to find out.
